Hi, I’m Allison Schlegelmilch.

I help my clients get more out of their marketing efforts by writing great copy, developing relevant content and delivering smart public relations services that increase their visibility and create real business opportunities.

Writing for businesses is my passion. I believe that most companies offer something really unique, really valuable to their customers, but have a hard time putting into words. I have a knack for honing in on a company’s unique personality, strengths and values and presenting it in way that resonates with their customers and spurs action.

For more than 5 years, I’ve provided copywriting and PR services in Lancaster, PA, Central PA and beyond for companies in a variety of industries, from professional services to healthcare, from real estate to retail.  A big fan of collaboration, I also work with ad agencies and web developers to help them meet the content development and PR needs of their clients. 

In addition to taking several classes through the Search Engine College, I am an honors graduate of Inbound Marketing University, earning a certification in digital marketing best practices including blogging, social media, lead conversion/nurturing and closed-loop analysis.

Prior to staring AS Communications, I served as the communications manager at The Lancaster Chamber of Commerce & Industry, one of PA’s largest and most influential business organizations. My time there provided an intense understanding of the needs and challenges of today’s businesses. 

I am a member of The Lancaster Chamber, have served as the PR chair for the Lancaster Heart Ball and currently serve on the United Disabilities Services Campaign Advisory Committee. My hobbies include reading/writing, interior design (check out my blog) and seeing bands. My most valued roles in life are that of wife to Matt and mother to Ava. We live in Manheim Township with our two spoiled german shorthaired pointers, Darby and Murphy.
